  • Polzeath Surf Kayaking Weekend

    Our legendary surf kayaking weekend is back and this time its bigger and better than ever.

    Including:

    • Surf Kayak training – if you’ve never been in a kayak before, or never surfed before, this is your chance to get stuck in.
    • Surf Kayak competition – Judged by a British Canoeing qualified White Water and Surf specialist, the surf competition is new this year!
    • Saturday evening social – prepare yourselves for the themed social, which is sure to be a big one! **Details TBC**

  • Mid-Season Tryweryn

    This intermediate level trip to the River Tryweryn in Wales is for those who have kayaked white water before and are either arriving at university with experience or have been in the club in previous years (if you’re not sure if this is you then come and find a committee member at pool).

    The river Tryweryn is a damn release river, with sections of Grade 1 to Grade 3 white water. This high intensity weekend aims to improve your white water paddling and allow you to practice some important white water safety and rescue skills in a safe and controlled environment.

  • Paddlington

    The first canoe polo competition of the year; Paddlington is held in London, and provides opportunity for Freshers, Ladies and Open team entries.

    Whether you’ve played polo before, or have never heard of it – with a time for some training between September and this October competition you’re guaranteed a great time.

    Take this opportunity to represent Exeter University at a National Competition.

Stay up to date with EUCC events with our handy calendar.

Pool Sessions are held twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays 20.00-22.00 throughout all term time. For this reason, they are not shown on this calendar. These training sessions are really relaxed, and after your first pool session, you don’t have to stay the whole time or come to every session – feel free to pop along when you can (but remember, if you want to see improvement, the more boat time you can get the better)!
